PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core shell particle having a relatively high compression elastic modulus when compressed by 10% and a relatively low elastic modulus when compressed by 30% and to provide conductive particles using the core shell particles.SOLUTION: There are provided a core shell particle 11 which comprises: a core 12; and an inorganic shell 13 disposed on the surface of the core 12. The inorganic shell 13 is formed by forming a metal alkoxide into a shell-like product on the surface of the core 12 by a sol-gel method and then calcining the shell-like product. A conductive particle 1 of the present invention includes the core shell particle 11 and a conductive layer 2 arranged on the surface of the core shell particle 11.
