The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device which prevents impurities from the outside such as a bonding solution from entering therein or reduces the amount of the impurities entering therein; easily confirms a joining condition that can be seen from the outside; and can reduce the thickness of the liquid crystal display device. According to the present invention, the liquid crystal display device includes a lower case having a side wall formed to extend from a base and an edge of the base in the perpendicular direction; a backlight unit which includes a light guide plate and an optical sheet that are contained inside the lower case; a panel guide which includes a first guide that is formed in parallel with the side wall of the lower case and is joined to the lower case to cover the side wall, and includes a second guide formed to extend from the first guide in parallel with the base; and a liquid crystal panel which is mounted on the second guide to face the backlight unit across the second guide. |
