The present invention relates to a tow truck which tows a vehicle to be towed. To be more particular, the tow truck can directly connect a spare tire, which is a supporting point of a tow frame for supporting and lifting a vehicle to be towed, not with a vehicle frame but with the tow frame in order to prevent the load in the process where the tow frame supports and lifts the lower part of the vehicle to be towed from being applied directly to the vehicle frame of a tow truck. In addition, the tow truck can rotate the spare tire in the front direction of the tow truck in the case of separating the spare tire from the ground using a spare tire rotating unit, and can rotate the spare tire in the back direction of the tow truck in the case of making the spare tire be in contact with the ground, in order to widen the gap between the spare tire, that is, a supporting point of the tow frame, and back tires of the tow truck during towing work, thereby improving the towing capacity and driving capacity thereof. Finally, the tow truck can variably regulate the force of a variable supporting unit for supporting the bottom of the tow frame between the vehicle frame and the tow frame, in order to regulate the center of gravity concentrated on the spare tire, that is, a supporting point of the tow frame during towing work, or in order to separate the spare tire from the ground in an empty state. |
