PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction indicating device for a vehicle capable of individually monitoring an electric current flowing to a direction indicator lamp, capable of individually detecting and displaying in which direction indicator lamp disconnection is caused, capable of coping with even a case of combining the direction indictor lamp different in a rated current and capable of easily using a semiconductor device having a pair of switching means. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device 5 is provided with a control diagnostic part 12 forming a detecting means for detecting respective carrying electric currents of the direction indicator lamp when carrying the electric current by the switching means 10 and 11, and includes a control device 2 forming a failure specifying control means for specifying in which direction indicator lamp the disconnection is caused by receiving a result of detecting the carrying electric current, and includes a display 4 for displaying in which direction indicator lamp the disconnection is caused in the vehicle by receiving a signal of specifying a disconnection occurrence place from this control device 2.
