EQUIPMENT TO RECOVER THE EXHAUST HEAT OF HEATER

The present invention relates to an energy-saving technology, more particularly, to an apparatus for recovering exhaust heat of a heater using exhaust gas as a heat source. The apparatus includes a tube-shaped case which has a heat insulation layer on the inner surface thereof; a heat exchanger which is installed inside the tube-shaped case, has an ellipse- or wing-shaped cross section, and comprises a plurality of thermal radiation pipes, a return chamber, a suction manifold, and an exhaust manifold; and a suction fan which is installed in one side of the case and is prepared to form an air flow which passes through the thermal radiation pipes on the heat exchanger installed inside the case. According the apparatus of the present invention, the costs and technologies required for manufacture can be minimized while the area for absorbing heat of the exhaust gas supplied from the heater can be maximized by forming the thermal radiation pipes to have an ellipse- or wing-shaped cross section. Also, the heating efficiency can be increased by preventing the loss of radiation heat which is generated in the thermal radiation pipes by heat-insulating the inside of the case.
