The present invention provides an array substrate, a drive control method and a display device thereof. The array substrate includes a plurality of gate lines. A first one of two adjacent gate lines is connected to a first switch device and a second one is connected to a second switch device. The first switch device and the second switch device are connected to the same control line and are also connected to the same gate drive output channel. The control line controls the second switch device to be turned off when the first switch device is turned on and controls the first switch device to be turned off when the second switch device is turned on. According to the present invention, the number of gate drive ICs and production costs can be effectively reduced.
