A photonic crystal phosphor includes a phosphor which emits exited light with a predetermined spectrum by absorbing external light; a first coating layer surrounding the phosphor in a first thickness and having a first refractive index; and a second coating layer covering the phosphor surrounded by the first coating layer in a second thickness and having a second refractive index.
