摘要 The present invention relates to a SOC processor architecture for sensor networks which includes: a sensor unit having a plurality of sensor functions; a main input/output unit for receiving sensor data from the sensor unit and outputting the data in an 8-bit unit; an image processing unit for receiving and processing the image data in an 8-bit unit; a wired/wireless communication unit for transmitting the sensor data outputted through the main input/output unit and the image data outputted through the image processing unit; a main control unit for controlling the sensor data inputted through the sensor data to output through the main input/output unit, the image data inputted from the image processing unit to be processed through the image processing unit and the sensor data or the image data to be transmitted to the outside through the wired/wireless communication unit at an 8-bit processing speed; and a main storage unit for storing control data for controlling the main input/output unit, image processing unit and wired/wireless communication unit. According to the present invention, the inputted image can be compressed or transmitted and comprehensively processing inputted other sensor signals and images so that apply the data to a sensor network by integrating a microcontroller unit which has an 8-bit processing speed and a complex sensor function which is capable of receiving and processing a plurality of sensor signals including images into one chip.
