1. A polyurethane foam strip comprising a chemically inert, open cell hydrophilic polyurethane foam, shaped for application to the labile surface of the front teeth and/or gums of a subject, wherein the strip is provided with at least one oral care composition for delivery to the teeth and/or gums of the subject; and the polyurethane foam has a density between 70 and 130 kg/m3, a cell structure of an average diameter equal to or less than 500 micrometers, a wet out equal to or less than 500 s, a fluid capacity after draining equal to or higher than 2 g water/g foam, a fluid capacity after saturation equal to or higher than 1 g water/g foam, and a fluid capacity after compression equal to or higher than 4 g water/g foam and wherein the strip releases at least one oral care composition.
