PURPOSE: A power apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent the discharge of a battery because of the malfunction of a door switch by shutting down the input of a power unit if a door switch signal is turned on over a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION: A power apparatus for a vehicle comprises a battery(10), multiple switches(20,22,24), and an ECU(30). The battery is loaded on a vehicle. The multiple switches are connected to all kinds of electric loads mounted on the vehicle and generate switch signals for driving the electric loads. The ECU supplies battery power to the electric loads after receiving the switch signals generating in the multiple switches. The ECU shuts down the path of the battery power supplied to the electric loads if the switch signals are inputted over a predetermined time. |
