A power control system for automatic teller machines is provided to prevent a decrease in an operating ratio caused by abnormal power cutoff and to reduce the malfunction of hardware. A power control system for automatic teller machines is comprised of a switching unit(100) and a main logic unit(200). The switching unit switches a starting signal and a terminating signal. The switching unit includes a basic switch(110) and an emergency switch(120). The basic switch applies the power to an automatic teller machine and generates a normal operating signal and a normal terminating signal for operating or terminating the automatic teller machine. The emergency switch generates an emergent terminating signal to stop the abnormally operating automatic teller machine. The main logic unit starts or terminates the automatic teller machine according to the signal generated by the switching unit. |
