The present invention relates to an electrolyte capable of removing moisture in a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, thereby preventing the increase of hydrofluoric acid due to the reaction of a moisture and lithium fluoride. The present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery which includes a non-aqueous organic solvent, and an additive, which inhibits the production of hydrofluoric acid from lithium fluoride, at a range of 0.3-3 wt% relative to the entire electrolyte including lithium fluoride; and a lithium secondary battery including the same.
