The present invention relates to a translation system using code conversion and a method thereof which translate a voice message with a first language desired by a user to a second language through the code conversion and transmits the voice message with the second language to the opposite party, and more specially, to a system and method which generates the original code of the voice message with the first language received from a transmission terminal; generates a translation code with the second language corresponding to a word code after searching the word code with high similarity in comparison to the word code; and transmits a transmission message which is restored according to the transmission code to a reception terminal.
