The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composition for discoloration of a Cu-Au alloy, a composition for discoloration of a Cu-Au alloy manufactured by using same, a method for manufacturing a paulownia craft item by using same, and a paulownia craft item manufactured by using same, including a step for manufacturing a Cu-Au alloy by melting copper and gold (step 1); a step for manufacturing a craft item with the Cu-Au alloy (step 2); a step for embedding a pattern into a surface of the craft item (step 3); a step for silver-inlaying a groove of the pattern that is embedded in the surface of the craft item (step 4); a step for treating the surface of the craft item (step 5); a step for surrounding the surface-treated craft item with mulberry paper dipped into the composition for discoloration of a Cu-Au alloy (step 6); a step for sealing the craft item surrounded with the mulberry paper for 24 to 48 hours (step 7); and a step for washing the craft item (step 8). The composition for discoloration of a Cu-Au alloy according to the present invention can be easily handled, safe, odor-free, and manufactured within a short period of time compared to fermented urine, which has been in conventional use. Also, the composition for discoloration of a Cu-Au alloy can discolor the soft ruddy bronze surface color of the Cu-Au alloy to a blackish purple color. The silver-inlaid paulownia craft item according to the present invention, which has a blackish blue paulownia color, is embedded with a silver-colored pattern so that a beautiful traditional color and pattern can be provided.
