<p>Systems and methods for efficiently transmitting information over a wireless network segment are provided herein. An exemplary method may include separating, via a transmitter, digital fronthaul data into general information and radio signal information, transmitting the general information over the wireless network segment from the transmitter to a receiver on a first communications channel, and transmitting the radio signal information over the wireless network segment from the transmitter to the receiver on a second communications channel.</p> |
