DYEING METHOD FOR FABRIC USING PHORPHYRA YEZOENSIS

Provided are a method for dyeing a fabric with an extract from Porphyra yezoensis, and a fabric with excellent deodorant properties and UV barrier properties dyed by the method. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a pigment extract from Porphyra yezoensis; preparing a dye by freeze-drying the pigment extract and obtaining a pigment powder; and inputting the dye in a bath containing the fabric and dyeing a fabric under pH 2-11 and 60-90 °C for 20-120 minutes.
