PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin composition which contains a xanthene-based compound with a high solubility in solvent so as to produce pixels with high brightness; and a high-quality color filter, a liquid crystal display unit, and an organic EL display unit, with use of the colored resin composition.SOLUTION: The colored resin composition includes a dye (A), a solvent (B), and a binder resin (C).
