Provided are a data processing method, a communication single board and a device, which relate to the technical field of communications, and can reduce the transmission delay of a TDM service. The method includes: a first communication single board acquiring an optical channel data unit (ODU) data stream; the first communication single board performing a slicing process on the ODU data stream according to a fixed frame frequency to obtain individual slices, each of the slices comprising a segment of continuous ODU data in the ODU data stream; the first communication single board encapsulating each of the slices into an Ethernet frame respectively; and the first communication single board sending each of the Ethernet frames to a time-division multiplexing (TDM) service switch module in an Ethernet switch chip, so that the TDM service switch module sends each of the Ethernet frames to a second communication single board to which a destination MAC address carried by the each of the Ethernet frames is directed.
