PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous manufacturing method of a branched butadiene polymer having reduced generation of a gel.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a branched butadiene polymer includes a polymerization process of continuously supplying 1,3-butadiene or 1,3-butadiene and an aromatic vinyl compound, and an inert solvent into a polymerization reactor at a supply temperature of 30°C or lower, continuously polymerizing them with an organic lithium compound as an initiator to obtain an active terminal-containing linear butadiene polymer, and a coupling process of continuously supplying the active terminal-containing linear butadiene polymer into a coupling reactor and continuously adding a coupling agent represented by the formula (1) to conduct a coupling reaction. (1), where R represents each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 0 or 1. |
