<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of automatically determining whether to perform sheet alignment processing in consideration of the whole bookbinding system, thereby reducing adverse effect of the sheet alignment processing efficiently.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes printing means which performs print processing and discharges a printed sheet, sheet stacking means where the discharged sheet is stacked, and alignment means having an alignment member which is in contact with the side surface of the sheets stacked in the sheet stacking means to align the stacked sheets. An information processing apparatus which generates a print job for the image forming system and a post-processing job for post-processing the printed matter in a post-processing device includes: determination means for determining whether to perform alignment by means of the alignment member for each element constituting the printed matter; and job generation means for generating a print job for each element including an attribute showing the necessity of alignment based on a result of the determination, and a post-processing job for the printed matter.</p> |
