A server for recommending photograph sharing comprises: a storage unit for storing friendship information indicating friendships of each of a plurality of users in a database; a communication unit for receiving photographing information on a photograph stored in each of devices of the plurality of users from the devices; and a message generation unit for generating a photograph sharing recommendation message which recommends sharing of a photograph stored in a device of a first user with a second user on the basis of the friendship information and the photographing information.
