When all pixels corresponding to a low-resolution frame buffer (15) are the same render color, the pixels are rendered to the low-resolution frame buffer (15) and a corresponding valid flag buffer (16) value is set to on. When all pixels corresponding to the low-resolution frame buffer (15) are not the same render color, the pixels are rendered to a frame buffer (14) and the corresponding valid flag buffer (16) value is set to off. If the valid flag buffer (16) value is on, a display control unit (13) reads out a value of the low-resolution frame buffer (15), and if the valid flag buffer (16) value is off, the display control unit (13) reads out a value of the frame buffer (14). The display control unit (13) outputs said read-out data to a display device (30) as display data.
