PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a wheel bearing improved in durability by enhancing muddy water resistance while achieving low friction.SOLUTION: A sealing device 7 comprises: a seal plate 10 composed of a core metal 12 and a seal member 13; and a slinger 11 having a cylinder part 11a and an erecting plate part 11b. The seal member 13 comprises: a side lip 13b inclined to the outside of a radial direction; and a grease lip 13c inclined to the inside of the radial direction and slidably contacting with the cylinder part 11a. A block part 14 composed of: a first cylinder part 14a extending to the inside of a bearing; a disc plate part 14b extending to the outside of the radial direction; and a second cylinder part 14c extending to the outside of the bearing is integrally formed at a tip of the erecting plate part 11b. On the seal plate 10, there are formed first and second labyrinth seals 15, 16 in which the first cylinder part 14a, a corner of the disc plate part 14b and the second cylinder part 14c oppose with one another with minute clearances, and the labyrinth seals function as a block wall of the side lip 13b. |
