PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture foreign matter mixed in working fluid in a hydraulic auto tensioner for an auxiliary machine having a relief valve.SOLUTION: A sleeve fitting hole 3 is provided on a bottom part upper surface of a cylinder 1 in which working fluid is stored, a lower end part of a sleeve 4 is press fitted in the sleeve fitting hole, and a lower end part of a rod 5 is slidably inserted into the sleeve, and thus, a pressure chamber 6 is formed. A reservoir chamber 14 is formed between the cylinder and the sleeve, an oil passage 15 communicating the reservoir chamber with the pressure chamber is provided between fitting surfaces of the sleeve and the sleeve fitting hole, and a check valve 17 is incorporated in the lower end part of the sleeve. The rod has a valve fitting hole 24 opened on the lower end, and an oil passage 25 communicating the upper part with the reservoir chamber. A relief valve 30 is incorporated in the valve fitting hole, and a filter 40 is disposed on the working fluid inflow side of the relief valve, and foreign matter mixed into the working fluid is captured by the filter when the working fluid in the pressure chamber flows into the relief valve. |
