PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel insertion type device, when plaque formed on the intima of a blood vessel is removed, capable of minimizing the occurrence of injury of tissue in the plaque periphery of the blood vessel wall.SOLUTION: A blood vessel insertion type device 1 includes: a hollow tubular insertion tube 3 that can be inserted into a blood vessel and has a proximal end and a distal end 3a at both ends thereof in the longitudinal direction respectively; and a vibration part 6 that is disposed at the distal end 3a of the insertion tube 3, connected to a vibration generator 5 via a vibration transmission shaft member 4 extending inside the insertion tube 3, and generates ultrasonic vibration. The blood vessel insertion type device 1 further includes pressing means 7 that presses the vibration part 6 onto an inner face of the blood vessel wall by the distal end 3a of the insertion tube 3 inserted into the blood vessel. |
