PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the strength deterioration of a hinge arm caused by fatigue while enabling an alleviation of impact on the pedestrian's body.SOLUTION: A hood hinge 10 has such a structure that a hinge arm 12 comprises a side wall part 12A and a top wall part 12B, an engine hood 2 is attached to the upper end part of the top wall part 12B on the vehicle front side, and that the lower surface of the top wall part 12B's end part on the vehicle front side is pushed up by a push-up rod 20 of an actuator. On the hood hinge 10, a notch part 40, that is not extended to the top wall part 12B, is formed at the middle position of the longitudinal direction of the hinge arm 12's side wall part 12A. The notch part 40 is formed such that its gap becomes wider downward. |
