A teaching apparatus is provided. The teaching apparatus comprises a display surface (4) upon which a plurality of zones (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) are delineated, each zone representing an activity, and a position marker (18) adapted to be capable of being positioned over any one of the zones (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), characterised in that the apparatus further comprises at least one guidance means (22, 24, 26, 28, or 30) adapted to provide one or more users of the apparatus with guidance as to one or both of the use of the apparatus and the structure of the teaching to be facilitated by the apparatus. |
