The mounting system (1) has a dowel sleeve (4) that includes an expanding portion (5) for holding the dowel sleeve in an opening (6) in a base (3), and a retainer (7) for holding an insulating material (2). A spreading element is arranged at an end of expanding element (8) e.g. screw for spreading the expanding portion of dowel sleeve. A cover plate (10) is arranged at an opposite end of the expanding element. The cover plate is positioned such that the retainer of dowel sleeve is located in a recess of the insulation material after the system assembly. An independent claim is included for a method for fastening of insulating material on base. |
