The present invention relates to an electro gas-welding apparatus which includes a tab piece formed to correspond to changes of the shape of the groove for welding such as a distance between two base materials and a thickness of the base material. In order to correspond to the shape of the groove for welding, the electro gas-welding apparatus comprises a copper shoe which seals a front opening between the two base materials; a backing material which seals a back opening between the two base materials; a welding rod which is molten by an arc to be fused and fixed between the two base materials; a tab piece which is installed between the two base materials in the direction crossing the two base materials to form a floor surface of a starting section of welding, and is formed with a plastic body having plasticity; and a metal material which is placed on the floor surface of the tab piece to be fused to form a weld metal.
