Method and device for opening coin rolls

The method involves forming a stack from multiple coins (10) of equal measurement. A coin roll (4) is supported on two bearings (2,3), where the force (7) is applied on the coin roll against the bearings. The coin roll is bent in its longitudinal axis. A cover (9) is ruptured by applying shear stress for emptying the coin roll. An independent claim is also included for a device for opening of a coin roll.
