PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a color-mixed ink is easily pushed into nozzles, thereby deteriorating image quality when a nozzle surface that is vertically arranged and is having nozzle lines for ejecting different colored liquids is wiped out. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a wiper member 93 for wiping out the nozzle surface 124 of a recording head 24; and ink guide members 393, 393 arranged downstream in a wiping direction of the wiper member 93 and having an end portion 393a facing the nozzle lines Na, Nb of the recording head 24 in a prescribed interval.
