PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind velocity sensor whose variations in measured value due to differences among individual units have been reduced. SOLUTION: The wind velocity sensor 10 includes two thermosensitive resistance elements coupled to each other thermally, and the two thermosensitive resistance elements 11a, 11b are connected in parallel electrically. The wind velocity sensor 10 includes a drive detection circuit part 20 for driving the two thermosensitive resistance elements 11a, 11b, and outputting a measured value based on an averaged resistance value. The drive detection circuit part 20 has a constant current circuit 21 as a single power supply source for supplying power to the two thermosensitive resistance elements 11a, 11b, and a DC circuit 22 for receiving power supplied from an outside power supply and supplies DC power to the constant current circuit 21. Moreover, the drive detection circuit part 20 has a resistor 25 for capturing a voltage change caused by changes in resistance of the thermosensitive resistance elements 11a, 11b as a divided voltage, an operational amplifier 23 for amplifying this divided voltage, and an A/D converter 24 for converting the output voltage of the operational amplifier 23 from an analog value to a digital value.
