The present invention relates to a core/shell structured quantum rod and, specifically, to a core/shell structured quantum rod with maximized luminescence efficiency. Characteristics of the present invention are that: the core of the core/shell structured quantum rod is formed by mixing two semiconductor particles; and the shell which covers the core is formed by one semiconductor with bigger band gap among two semiconductors. Through the above characteristics, band gap difference between the core and shell is reduced, thereby electrons and positive holes directly related to luminescence of the core/shell structured quantum rod can be existed in a stable state; and high luminance efficiency, high luminance clarity, and high chemical stability can be achieved. In addition, the core/shell structured quantum rod of the present invention forms: the core into alloy semiconductor particles in which cadmium sulfide (CdS) semiconductor particles and zinc sulfide (ZnS) particles are mixed; and the shell into zinc sulfide (ZnS) semiconductor particles, thereby blue color having 450-480 nm color wave can be performed. |
