The present invention relates to a storage tank comprising a shell with an inner space opened on both sides to form a body of the storage tank; a head coupled to both ends of the shell to close the inner space of the shell, thereby forming a storage space; and a joining member joining the head to the shell. The joining member has a joining piece which is positioned on an end portion of the shell or the head, and is inserted into an end portion of the other; a joining bent portion which is bent so that the joining piece is formed integrally with any one end portion thereof and then extended therefrom; and a welding portion formed by welding the outer peripheral surface of the joining portion between the shell and the head, which are joined by having the joining piece inserted between the two. Therefore, since the joining force between the head and the shell is improved, it is possible to safely store the substance to be stored and thus improve the quality and reliability of the product. |
