Disclosed is an elevator system for the disabled. The elevator system for disabled comprises a motion sensing unit transmitting a motion sensing signal when rolling of a wheel is sensed; and an elevator controlling unit controlling the operation of an elevator car. The elevator controlling unit controls the operation of the elevator car by responding to the motion sensing signal when the motion sensing signal is received from the motion sensing unit. |
