The present invention relates to an energy management system, which obtains an outdoor temperature of a position of a solar panel and an amount of insolation and transmits the obtained result to a tracking device of maximum power point, a grid-associated power storage system including a maximum power tracking device, which receives the outdoor temperature of the position of the solar panel and the amount of insolation from the energy management system, estimates a maximum power range by using the outdoor temperature and the amount of insolation, searches for the maximum power ranges, and controls maximum power point tracking, and a method therefor. Since the outdoor temperature and the amount of insolation are used, a separate sensor for estimating a temperature of the solar panel and the amount of insolation is not required. |
