PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that enables a simple operation to adjust a position of an optical detector when matching optical axes of two laser light among three laser light by a diffraction optical element, and to provide an optical detector position adjustment method.SOLUTION: When a BD test disk compatible with BD light is irradiated with the BD light, on the basis of a signal to be output from four-division sensors S1 to S3, a rotation position of a diffraction grating 102 is adjusted so that a main beam of the BD light and two sub beams thereof are appropriately positioned to a track on the BD test disk. Then, when the BD test disk is irradiated with the BD light, on the basis of a signal to be output from four-division sensors S2 and S3, the rotation position of the optical detector 110 around a center of a crossing point of two dividing lines of a four-division sensor S1 is adjusted. |
