PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte membrane formation material excellent in terms of radical resistance.SOLUTION: The provided polymer electrolyte membrane is obtained by crosslinking a resin composition consisting of: a block copolymer consisting of a polystyrene derivative block including a proton-conductive group such as poly[4-(4-sulfobutyloxy)]styrene and a derivative block such as poly[4-(n-butoxy)]styrene; and a crosslinking agent.
