<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a transmission compact by assembling a manual transmission having a control rod which is regulated in axial movement.SOLUTION: A select lever shaft having a select lever and a shift lever shaft 94 having a shift lever 98 are assembled to a wall of a transmission case 80, the control rod 100 is turned in a state that a gear change mechanism and remaining parts of a gear change operation mechanism 90 are assembled to a rear face of a clutch housing 190, a shift finger 102 is moved to a reverse select position, the reverse lever is oscillated to a shift-in position by operating a detection device operation part of the reverse lever, and the shift lever shaft 94 is operated so as to be drawn in an axial direction from a prescribed position or pushed therein with respect to the transmission case 80 so that the shift lever 98 does not interfere with an engagement recess 160 of the shift finger 102 in an axial view.</p> |
