PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable-type power tool in which a switch mechanism and a plurality of circuit boards are efficiently arranged in a handle part side.SOLUTION: The power tool 1 includes a turning mechanism (10) turnably connected at a rear end part of a front housing 2 and a front end part of a rear housing 3. The power tool 1 is operable at least in a state that the front housing 2 and the rear housing 3 are arranged straight and a state that they are arranged to be folded. A trigger switch and a plurality of circuit boards, which control the rotation of a motor 4, are provided in the rear housing 3. The circuit boards are arranged such that the boards perpendicular to an axial direction are arranged at the front and rear of a board arranged parallel to the axial direction and connected to each other in a near-U shape when viewed from the upper face, and further the trigger switch is provided on the parallel board. This arrangement reduces the size and improves the assemblability in the power tool. |
