PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing application of an image processing for controlling blurring of color materials to an image to be printed.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a size determination unit that determines a dot size of each of pixels; and a data forming unit that, on the basis of determined dot size, forms dot data as data to be supplied to a printing execution unit and as data of the dot size of each of the pixels. The size determination unit determines the dot size of a processing target pixel by using each color value of a plurality of corresponding pixels corresponding to the processing target pixel. A plurality of corresponding pixels is a plurality of pixels which include the processing target pixel and is lined up in a blurring direction as a direction having a tendency that a color material in a predetermined plurality of directions on a recording media is easily blurred. |
