摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover mainly indium from a glass substrate with ITO attached thereto without using any strong acid so that use of an anticorrosive water tank or use of any strong alkali for neutralization of the strong acid becomes unnecessary, and further to provide a method for recovering metal components in an unreduced region, which is impossible in the conventional method.SOLUTION: A method for recovering indium includes: a step to apply a voltage between a positive electrode 6 which is immersed in an electrolytic solution 5 including a neutral salt and a negative electrode 3 which is placed outside the electrolytic solution, and to bring the negative electrode 3 into contact with a surface 1 of a glass substrate, to which a metal component containing indium oxide or tin oxide adheres; and a step to immerse a part of the glass substrate, which has been brought into contact with the negative electrode, in the electrolytic solution.</p>
