PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent battery run-out of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support apparatus 10 searches one charging facility located in a predetermined range from a current position of the electric vehicle, and outputs information for prompting charging in the charging facility when a distance to the charging facility is equal to or larger than an allowable travel distance which is obtained by subtracting a predetermined margin value from distance-to-empty of the electric vehicle. The charging facility to be searched is a charging facility located at the shortest distance from the current position of the electric vehicle, a charging facility located in a predetermined range from a road in a traveling direction (or a scheduled travel route) of the electric vehicle and at the shortest distance from the current position of the electric vehicle, or the like. |
