<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the skew of a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes a secondary transfer roller 9 for secondarily transferring a toner image transferred to an intermediate transfer belt 8 to a transfer paper P, a separation plate 20 separating the transfer paper P from the intermediate transfer belt 8, and a power supply circuit 21 applying a bias to the separation plate 20. The bias is applied to the separation plate 20, so that the separation plate 20 separates the transfer paper P from the intermediate transfer belt 8. Two or more separation plates are provided in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the recording medium. The bias is applied to each of the separation plates 20 independently.</p> |
