<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator and a vibration control method for the same that can efficiently reduce vibration of an elevator car without occupying much space for installation.SOLUTION: The elevator comprises: an elevator car; a weight; a rope for hoisting the car and the weight; a take-up machine for taking yp the rope; a hoistway for lifting the car; a vibration absorbing member installed on the side surface of the elevator car, for absorbing vibration with frequencies of vibration of the elevator car; and an antivibration weight attached to the elevator car via the vibration absorbing member.</p> |
