METHOD OF EVALUATING FATIGUE BY NEAR-INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply and properly evaluating degree of physical fatigue.SOLUTION: In a method of evaluating degree of subject's fatigue, dynamic load is applied to the subject, to which the application of dynamic load is ended when the dynamic load cannot be continued due to his fatigue, and the degree of fatigue is evaluated taking the fluctuation range of tissue oxygenation index at least for one minute from the end of the dynamic load as an index. The tissue oxygenation index is obtained by measuring the skeleton muscle used in the exercise of the subject by near-infrared spectroscopy.
