The computer implemented method involves storing the specifications of meta-information of the electronic documents (10) in a data base. Multiple character strings are generated for every electronic document. The character string comprises a specification of the predetermined meta-information of the respective electronic document. A file name is composed for each electronic document from the generated character strings (22), as the generated character strings are assembled in a predetermined sequence to a file name (21). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for saving numerous electronic documents; and (2) a computer program product with program code. |
