The present invention relates to a light diffusion plate and to a backlight unit comprising same, and more particularly, to a light diffusion plate and to a backlight unit comprising same, which are capable of enhancing the brightness and uniformity of the emitted light, wherein the light diffusion plate comprises: a diffusion matrix layer which is interposed between the lower diffusion layer on the light incident surface side and the upper diffusion layer on the light emission surface side, with light diffusing particles dispersed therein, and formed with a liner first pattern having a curved upper surface on the light emission surface side; and the upper diffusion layer is formed with a liner second pattern having a curved surface top on the light emission surface side.
