PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of preventing an electrode terminal from being turned together with an annular member when it is screwed, and a method for manufacturing the power storage device.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 has an insulating member 50 for insulating between an inner face 14a of a lid 14 and a seating face 43a of a stem 43 in a cathode terminal 41 and an anode terminal 42. The insulating member 50 has a lid-side insulating plate 51 disposed between the inner face 14a of the lid 14 and the seating face 43a of the stem 43. Also, the insulating member 50 has a case-side insulating plate 52. The case-side insulating plate 52 is located between a portion across a plane part H at a side face 43c of the stem 43 and a case body 13, extending from an edge of the lid-side insulating plate 51 in a direction parting away from the lid 14.
