<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of handling connected objects well.SOLUTION: Image data is stored in a memory module 133 in association with a plurality of kinds of objects and static images. A VDP (a video display processor) 135 performs geometric operation including arrangement processing of the image data to a world coordinate system on the basis of plotting instructions from a display CPU 131, and performs rendering including projection processing to a plane of projection to generate plotting data which are two-dimensional data. In projecting to the plane of projection, hidden surface processing utilizing a Z buffer 143 is carried out. In this case, a plurality of kinds of connected objects are stored as image data for displaying the same character. These connected objects are set so that positions of connected parts are mutually different. When displaying the character, one of the plurality of kinds of connected objects is selected as an object to be displayed.</p> |
